Visit to the Youngs!

I went to snowy Columbus Ohio last week to see one of my dearest friends, Leah Young and her incredible family, Cody, Brinley and Avery ! I got an incredibly cheap flight on Skybus and it was SO FUN!

I had a Buckeye, we went to Graters, we made gingerbread houses, but best of all was just hanging out and talking and learning from my incredible friend! I learned so much about motherhood and life from her! Leah knew which Soother (Or Binkie) to use so Brooklyn would take it (something that has made my life 10 times easier) and the she showed me how to do the swaddle and it works wonders! She's an awesome cook, organizer and home decorator - all areas I need desperate help in! She's also a Stampin' Up! demonstrator so I got some exciting stampin stuff while I was there!

I also got to take care of the three most adorable little girls on earth, Brinley, Avery and Brooklyn while Cody and Leah got to go out on a date! Motherhood is even more fun with friends I've decided. (As it is with everything in life!)

Thanks Young Family for having me, and thank you Leah for being such a loving and inspiring friend! I miss you already!

That is a whole nother story, and I wont' go into it, but I learned a lot about the what I want and need to have a healthy delivery. After extensive research into the process of birth, I know that it is possible for me to have a beautiful, natural birth and the things that that entails really aren't extreme and are in fact proven to be healthier choices for both me and my baby. (For our book group this month, we are reading "Gentle Birth Choices" by Barbara Harper, which is one of several books I have read on the topic and one that I would highly recommend - as well as the documenary ...
