I Miss Tennessee!

It is Soooo Cold here!

I don't know if I was just spoiled last year - it was seriously the best winter of my life. Southerners have got it made! The humid cold here though gets right to the bone in a way that I have never experienced! I have told people that live here this and they have just mercilessly said that it only gets worse! I don't know if I'm going to make it! Judy, I may bet moving in with you for the next 5 months!

We went out for a bit one day, the neighbor girls had more fun than Brooklyn - she was ready to go back in in about 5 minutes.

Ooh, I know, the bitter humid cold is the worst! My coldest winter was in Boston. You'll get even tougher than you are!

Your wraps are so so cute! I really love the fabric you use. How much do you charge for the patterned ones? I'll have to get one when we get around to having another baby. I had to laugh about making $5 an hour for your work, so true with anything homemade, esp sewing stuff, you just can't sell things for enough to make up for your TIME!

Hey Paige, sorry about the cold, but don't worry here in Utah it is still unseasonable warm. I am really tired of global warming. :) So I am already counting down the days until you get here. We will be here until the 24th so I am expecting an hour everyday to play racquetball! Just give me a call as soon as you are in town.

Option for a Healthy Birth

I am not typically a big writer on my blog. I usually just post a few dozen photos of my adorable child and make little comments below. That is a whole nother story, and I wont' go into it, but I learned a lot about the what I want and need to have a healthy delivery. After extensive research into the process of birth, I know that it is possible for me to have a beautiful, natural birth and the things that that entails really aren't extreme and are in fact proven to be healthier choices for both me and my baby. (For our book group this month, we are reading "Gentle Birth Choices" by Barbara Harper, which is one of several books I have read on the topic and one that I would highly recommend - as well as the documenary ...
