I don't do well with being housebound, and since Brooklyn has had a cough for nearly a month and a half (just sick enough to not want to put her into the YMCA daycare), I have not had my hour or two of exercise time in my days and with the colder weather, we haven't been outside as much as we usually are. So, I started a few new hobbies!
Amy Butler is officially my favorite pattern-go-to-girl. I love her patterns and now have 3 of her purse patterns and her book. This is the best purse I've ever had though! Tons of space and a pocket for everything! I'm working on making a few more for my sisters...
I experimented making Tutus - they seem so easy to make and are expensive to buy, so I made 3. Still don't know what to do with them. Hopefully Brooklyn will want to wear it one day. For now she has no interest. I also came up with a few ways to snazzy up my Baby wraps. I made cute bags for them to go in and added little "Binky Holders" on the front panel.
November 14 is the craft fair where I hope to make enough to pay for my trip to Canada on Monday!
Our Relief Society did some great projects this year . Here are a few of the things we made. I taught how to make those Tile Picture Boards. They still have mine as a demo, but here is an example of what I'm talking about (Bottom right).
I do actually teach and play with Brooklyn too - honest (;
In fact, she is potty trained! It took a few months to get it down completely and I still put her in diapers at nap and bedtime, but we are diaper free during the day!
Hallelujah!
